What we help with
Online therapy for insomnia and sleep problems
A few bad nights are part of life. When poor sleep lasts for weeks, it affects mood, focus, health and patience, and worrying about sleep becomes part of the problem.
Signs you might recognise
The good news is that chronic insomnia responds well to a specific, structured kind of therapy, often within a handful of sessions.
Recognising yourself in a few of these does not mean something is wrong with you. It means it may be worth a conversation.
- Taking more than half an hour to fall asleep most nights
- Waking in the night and struggling to drift off again
- Waking far too early
- Dreading bedtime or watching the clock
- Relying on alcohol or pills to sleep
- Daytime tiredness, fog or irritability
How therapy helps
Your therapist will suggest an approach based on what you want to change. Common ones include:
- 1
CBT for insomnia (CBT-I)
The first-line treatment for chronic insomnia. It retrains the link between bed and sleep.
- 2
Sleep scheduling
A temporary, personalised sleep window that rebuilds natural sleep pressure.
- 3
Worry and wind-down skills
Tools for a busy mind at night, so bed stops being the place you think.
Three things you can try today
- Get up at the same time every day, including weekends.
- If you are awake for a long stretch, leave the bed and return when sleepy.
- Keep the phone out of reach and the room cool and dark.
Start with a free intro call

Common questions
Does CBT for insomnia work online?
Yes. CBT-I is well suited to online delivery because it is structured and based on a sleep diary you keep at home. Research on digital and video CBT-I has shown good results.
Should I take sleeping pills instead?
Medication is a question for your doctor. Guidelines generally recommend CBT-I as the first treatment for chronic insomnia because its benefits last after treatment ends.
How quickly will my sleep improve?
Many people notice changes within two to four weeks. The first week or two can feel harder before it gets better, and your therapist will support you through that.
